DPDP tools and templates

Interactive tools and copy-ready templates for Indian teams preparing for the DPDP Act and Rules. Free, in your browser, no sign-up.

Updated 4 Nov 2026

Short answer

These are free DPDP tools and templates for Indian Data Fiduciaries: five interactive tools and five templates. They run in your browser, need no sign-up, and nothing you type is sent anywhere. They are educational, not legal advice and not a certification, so review any output with counsel.

How these tools work

Every tool runs in your browser. There is no sign-up, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

The interactive tools ask questions and show guidance, with links to the relevant Act and Rules pages. The templates are documents you can copy or print and adapt for your organisation.

What the tools are not

Educational, not legal advice

The tools give no score, percentage or compliance rating, and they are not a certification. They do not decide whether you are a Significant Data Fiduciary: only the Central Government notifies SDFs (s.10). Check templates and drafts with counsel before you use them.

How TruePrivacy helps

The tools help you see the gaps. TruePrivacy is the software that tracks the work: consent, Data Principal requests, breach notification and the SDF workspace.
